Moose Munch Recipe

5 C. Cherrios
5 C. Corn Chex
2 C. Salted Nuts
1 lb. M&M’s
10 oz. Pretzels
36 oz. White Chocolate (Or Almond Bark)
3 T. Vegetable Oil

  • Mix together cherrios, chex, nuts, m&m’s, and pretzels.
  • Microwave white chocolate with oil for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
  • Stir. Then microwave for 10 second intervals, stirring in between, until melted.
  • Pour melted chocolate over mixture.
  • Gently fold together until mixture is fully coated.
  • Let harden and then break apart.

Microwave Peanut Brittle

1 ½ C. Raw Peanuts
1 C. Sugar
¼ t. Salt
½ C. White Corn Syrup
1 t. Butter
1 t. Vanilla
1 t. Baking Soda

  • In a medium sized microwavable bowl stir together peanuts, sugar,syrup, salt.
  • Place in microwave for 4 minutes on high.
  • Stir, and microwave another 4 minutes.
  • Stir in butter, and microwave another 2 minutes.
  • Stir in vanilla, then quickly add baking soda and stir.
  • Pour onto oiled baking sheet. Let cool
  • Break apart and enjoy!

Rice Crispy Treats

Rice Crispy

¼ C. Butter
5 ½ C. Mini Marshmallows
½ t. Vanilla
5 ½ Crisp Rice Cereal

  • Melt butter in 3 quart sauce pan over low heat
  • Add marshmallows, cook until melted and smooth, stir frequently
  • Remove from heat
  • Stir in vanilla and crisp rice cereal
  • Press into a buttered 13×9 dish

* A fun way to add holiday sparkle to your everyday desserts is to sprinkle with red or green sprinkles.
